Its compact design, 115m² manufacturer coverage rating and support for advanced UniFi functions such as meshing, roaming assistance, guest networks, PPSK and dynamic VLAN assignment make it flexible for many smaller installations.
The main limitations are equally important: 2.4GHz uses WiFi 4, the uplink is Gigabit rather than 2.5GbE, and there is no 6GHz radio. For a completely new high-performance deployment, newer U6+ or U7 alternatives should therefore also be considered.
